By definition modeling is : a system or thing used as an example to follow or imitate. Modeling is also known as Aided Language Stimulation (ALS). Put simply, you have to model words in order for child to use the words. |

One word. One Picture.Select one picture. It can be a symbol or a photo. Laminate it or cover it with plastic. Carry around on a string or a key ring. Point to the word as you say it and show it to your child. Here's some ideas:
HELP me. Can I HELP you? HELP is on the way! It looks like she/he needs HELP. |
