Our Mission
We are dedicated to empowering individuals who use Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC). We educate caregivers, schools, and professionals on best practices for enhancing the interpersonal communications of all those who employ AAC in their daily lives. AAC Connection aims to foster positive and meaningful connections with both AAC users and their individual support networks. We believe every human being deserves opportunity – specifically, the chance to communicate more successfully.
What We Do
AAC Connection exists to enhance the everyday lives of all struggling communicators in our oral world. We focus on individuals for whom speech is fleeting; those who have difficulty effectively expressing their needs, thoughts, and ideas through speech. We build a bridge between practitioners of AAC and the world around them through innovative strategies drawing from years of expertise in this field.

Lisa Hancock, Parent
Lisa is the mother of Max, the child whose complex communication needs brought them all together and sparked the founding of this business. Lisa’s professional background in technology and high-profile project management, combined with her family’s journey, proves an invaluable asset for AAC Connection and its clients. Lisa knows full well that the two greatest barriers to moving towards an AAC system are getting started and sticking to it. AAC Connection exists to help deliver more success to caregivers and their teams. And for those who do not yet have a team – AAC will either serve as your team, or help you to build one that is the best fit for your loved one.
